The V-line facial strap is one of the easiest beauty accessories to add to your routine: no creams, cables or batteries. But to make it comfortable and keep it in place, it’s worth putting it on properly. Here’s how, step by step.
1. Start with clean skin
Use it after cleansing. If you apply creams or serums, let them absorb for a few minutes first so the fabric doesn’t soak them up.
2. Place the chin cup
Rest the mesh part under your chin, centred, with the seams facing out. It should cover the chin and under-chin area without covering your mouth.
3. Free your ears
Bring the straps up the sides of your face and pass each ear through its opening. This keeps the strap in place when you move.
4. Adjust the velcro
Close the velcro over the crown. The pressure should be firm but comfortable: if you notice deep marks, tingling or discomfort, loosen it.
How long should you wear it?
Start with 20–30 minutes a day — while you read or watch a series — and increase if it feels comfortable. Many people also wear it while they rest.
How to care for it
Hand wash it in lukewarm water with mild soap, with the velcro closed so it doesn’t snag, and let it air dry.
Remember: it’s a cosmetic accessory, not a medical device. Results vary from person to person.
